Boobalicious 'gives birth' in Hollingdean

THANKS to the work of three young Hollingdean mothers, a new drop-in centre has opened in the local Sure Start building.

They launched the drop-in called BoobALicous in June inviting local mothers to join them with the offer of free tea or coffee.

Their aim is to provide friendly, relaxed support for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers from other breastfeeding mums.

They meet every Thursday morning from 10.30 to 12.30 in the attractive new Sure Start building in Brentwood Road.

Professional support is provided by Sure Start midwife Jane Cleary and infant feeding advisor midwife Ella Jackson.

Drop-in launch: Hollingdean mums with babies (from left) Jackie Holden, Sofie Franzen and Terri O’Donnell with (seated) Brighton midwives Jane Cleary and Ella Jackson at the launch of a new breastfeeding drop-in centre.
