The first cohort in the trust’s Band 5 nursing development course received their certificates last month. The course that consists of eight taught study days with action learning sets aims to support development and professional growth into a senior role. Volunteer Pat Kelleher pictured here on St Patrick’s Day, her 80th birthday, in the Sussex Eye outpatient department where she has been helping out each Friday for the past 28 years.
